| Kern Plateau Zonata (multicincta) - this
project has been set back for the time being - we currently have no
adults but have several
up-and-coming juveniles. These individuals may have significant
amounts of black, but typically have wide white bands, which are very
cleanly marked. Price range: $100-150 each |
|
| Huachuca Mts Pyromelana - We have had quite a bit
of success with this bloodline, even though we have no adult male, and
have instead been using a friends male on breeder loan. Several of
the hatchlings have been simply stunning, with brilliant orange-red
bands with very reduced black. Price range: $75-125 each |
|
| Chiricahua Mts Pyromelana - snakes from this
locale typically have a bit more black cross-overs than the Huachuca
animals, but most still have significant amounts of red, and the black
is confined to the back. These snakes are redder than the ones
from the Huachucas. Price range: $75-125 each |
|
| Prescott Pyromelana - These are our reddest pyros,
and the black rings extend all the way to the venter. Some snakes
(like one of our males) from this area have significant amounts of
black. Band count in Prescott animals is typically higher than in
more southerly populations of pyros. Our single female is a fairly
small snake, but she laid 3 eggs last year. Price range: $75-125 each |
